MAKING A DIFFERENCE

At the Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy, not only do we cherish our volunteers, we couldn’t do what we do without them. We rely on generous, dedicated people to help us achieve our mission— Insure the protection of this shore land-wetland area for future generations.” Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy has never been a line-item on the Village Budget and we operate 100% with volunteer labor, donations and grants. We would love to have you help out in our mission, and here just a few options:

DONATIONS

Gifts and donations are always appreciated.  We depend on the continued support of our Friends at all levels as well as memorial donations each year to help with our continuing work on restoring the Southwick Creek woodland area as well as restoration work in the various prairie, woodland and sedge meadow projects. Donations also go towards our annual Arbor Day Project where we host this event for five schools annually with over 500 students and volunteers in attendance.  Each class plants two 10-12 foot tall native hardwood trees each year.
