Kishwauketoe Wine Walk
Saturday, September 26th - 2-5pm
Stroll at your own pace for 1.3 scenic miles through the breathtaking Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy, sipping on delicious wines from local vendors. Not only is this a perfect way to experience autumn’s beauty, but it’s also a fantastic fundraiser supporting our beloved conservancy! Must be 21 or older to participate.
NEW THIS YEAR! Shop local at our Artisan Market from 12-5pm. And don't forget to join the After Party at The Green Grocer with live music and food / beverages for purchase. 10% discount on food and beverages purchased to all those wearing your Wine Walk wristband at the After Party! 50/50 Raffle winners will be drawn at 6:30pm. You do not need to be present to win.

Native Plant Seed Cleaning to Benefit Kishwauketoe
Adult Volunteers Needed!
Select Wednesdays from 10-12pm, Oct - Dec 2026
No experience or equipment required, training provided.
Native plant seed collection is winding down for 2026 at Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy (KNC) in Williams Bay, and we now have a large supply of harvested seeds to clean and prepare for winter and early spring sowing. We’ll be volunteering in the cozy confines of the Village of Williams Bay’s Lions Recreation Center, the Lions Field House; no warm outerwear is required! Seed cleaning is a great way to volunteer to benefit our beautiful KNC without the need to walk long distances or perform strenuous tasks – this is a sit-down volunteer work effort; and, you’ll meet some great people who share the same love of Kishwauketoe! Bring your water bottle.
Kishwauketoe 5K Run / Walk
KNC Post-Run 2026
July 4th, 2026! What a great day for a USA 250-year anniversary run!
But, on July 3rd, a storm with 100mph winds at KNC knocked down many trees and branches. Our sincere thanks go out to a wonderful team of volunteers who came out on Friday afternoon and cleared the paths so the run could be held. These volunteers were Joe and Mia Gleiter, Vivian Kelly, Kim Parker, Don Skalla, Pat Standley, Cindy Yunker and Jenn Yunker.
There were 44 participants in the kid’s quarter mile run! The first-place boy was James Swinford and the first-place girl was Cecilia Scheele. All kid participants were given ice cream coupons compliments of the Frosty Moose in Williams Bay. Two hundred and eighty runners completed the 5K. Aidan King was the first-place male runner in, followed by Ryan Leurck and then Ryan Bernard. Ali Saban was the first-place female runner in, followed by Gloria Esarco and then Savannah Wenzel.
All in attendance joined in singing The Star-Spangled Banner before the run began!
