Harold Friestad is retiring after 34 years as founder and protector of the Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy! The Friends of KNC Board and the KNC Commission want to honor Harold in a way that is befitting of his unparalleled dedication to and work for KNC.
There will be a free tribute program to honor Harold at the KNC shelter on June 30th at 1:00pm. Afterward, we are hosting a catered reception across the street at the Lion’s Field House from 1:30-4:00. The reception admission fee ($45) includes food, one drink ticket, live music and a gathering of friends and colleagues. A cash bar will be available serving beer and wine. Please consider joining us!
In honor of Harold’s retirement, it is his wish to present a scholarship to a Williams Bay High School student going into the Environmental Science field. Harold is excited about this idea and it’s a nice way to thank him for all he has done for KNC and for the Village of Williams Bay! Please consider donating to this or to KNC restoration in honor of Harold. Thank you!
