What a beautiful day we had for our annual 5K, held, Saturday, July 6th. The weather could not have been better; sunny skies and perfect temperatures. A new record amount completed the race, 355 runners in the 5K and 35 children in the quarter mile. Aidan King was the top male runner and Lexi Affolter was the top female runner. In the children’s quarter mile, Victoria Fell came in first for the girls and Sawyer Wenzel was first for the boys.
Our generous donors help to make the race affordable to all: the Otzen Family Foundation, Café Calamari, Gage Marine, Bob and Tina Dillman, Alice Morava, Daniels Foods in Walworth, the Frosty Moose of Williams Bay, Hansen’s IGA, Heyer True Value in Walworth, Lake Geneva Piggly Wiggly, Stinebrink’s Piggly Wiggly in Delavan, and Williams Bay Subway.
