Forest Bathing
Sunday, August 23rd & Saturday, September 19th
10:30 - 12:00pm
Immerse yourself in nature and discover the healing benefits of spending time in the natural world. Known as Shinrin-Yoku in Japanese, forest bathing is a guided walk with invitations designed to engage all of your senses. Research shows that forest bathing boosts the immune system, lowers blood pressure, and improves mood and cognitive function.
This is not a vigorous walk or a talk by a naturalist. Rather it is an opportunity to soak up the healing aspects of nature and to connect with your own inner peace and wisdom.
Your Instructor
Cindy Conlon, J.D., Ph.D.
Cindy is certified to teach yoga, breathwork, and forest therapy (through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy: anft.earth).
